HI GUYS + Check Out My Tumblr!

Hi guys! Guess what, I'm back! Well not really, just for the time being.  So first of all super sorry for not being on for TOO LONG omg. It's been too long. But like I said before, I'm currently a freshman in high school, so yes homework load is a lot more than middle school. So that's why I haven't been on. Cause of school. Ya, just blame school. Finals are over, THANK GOD! And I have the time to make this post because it's winter break. And now I'm just thinking about how time passes by so quickly. It's scary actually. 2 days until 2015. Can you believe that? Like wow. If you think about it, an year passes by so quickly. We are growing up. But I'm excited for what 2015 holds for me. Let's just talk about my first semester as a freshman okay? Lol, this is probably just going to be a rambling post. So the classes I took were oral composition, biology, P.E., English 1A, Band, and Algebra 2/Trig. Oh god, I hate PE. I think it's probably because of the teacher. Like she's wayyyyy too blunt and direct. Like if you suck, she will literally say "you suck." And I get super nervous around her. Algebra 2/Trig was okay after all. I mean I didn't think I could pass the class with an A, but I did! YAS. So thankful for my mom, who was willing to stay up at nights to help me with math, and for my teacher who gave out extra credit. And that REALLY helped with my grade. So yeah. I also auditioned for the Northern California honor band and also the Santa Clara honor band (in case you guys didn't know, I play the clarinet. Yes, Clare plays the clarinet), but didn't get into any. It really upset me. at first, but then my friend was like "Don't be sad because it's just another reason for you to work harder. If at first, you don't succeed, try again. Because you can only go up from here." And that really made me smile. :)

What's in My Backpack? + School Supplies Haul! 2014

It's that time of year again.  Yes, it's back to school time!  My school started last week on Monday, so I decided to show you guys what's in my backpack, and my back to school supplies haul.  Since I didn't buy much school supplies this year, I combined it with the what's in my backpack post.  Let's get started!

Some of the stuff I got from my back to school supplies haul are shown in the picture.  I just got a binder, a folder, and a notebook.  Pretty simple.  I also got a scientific calculator, after I found out that I needed it.  Anyways, that's it for this post!  I hope you guys have an amazing school year! :)

As a freshmen in high school, I have less time in my hands.  Therefore, I can only post around 2 times a month instead of 4.  Occasionally, if I have more time, I will have more than 2 posts per month.  I am sorry about that.  Still keep on reading my blog, since I am NOT going to stop posting for this time being.  Thank you for understanding! :)

July Favorites 2014 ♡

Yayyy guys, I'm back!  Sorry I haven't posted for a long time.  If you read my previous post, you would know that I was actually on vacation.  In addition to that, I didn't have any time in my hands even when I did came back from my vacation.  But it's okay because I'm back with a new post.  Today's post is my July Favorites.  I never did a favorites post before, so I decided to do one.  Without further ado, below are my favorites for the month of July!

Fashion

1. This outfit - I wore this outfit many times during the summer because I think the shirt and the shorts go very well together.  By the way, the white clothing on top of the crop top is a tank top.  The crop top is kind of clear, so I wore a tank top underneath it.

2. This Flannel shirt - I either wear this around my waist or wear it as a jacket.  I think tying a flannel shirt around your waist will make every outfit a bit better. :)









3. These black high waisted shorts - I love these shorts because they are high waisted AND they have multiple buttons AND they look really nice with any top.







4. This tank top - Since summer is really hot, this tank top is PERFECT for the summer weather (as you can see).  I wear the tank top (on the right) under the polka dot tank top.








Beauty
5. Pimple Remover - So I bought both of these items from Taiwan.  How it works :  First, wipe the pimple using sanitizing wipes.  The tool (on the right) is to poke the pimple when there is like a white head on it (which I know that in America, pimples aren't treated this way).  And after you get one of those pimple tape thingies (on the left), and then tape it on the pimple.  You take the tape off when the tape turns white (the tape is clear when you first put it on).  I only used these products once, but they work so well.  I had this pimple on my forehead that I couldn't get rid of.  But when I used this method, surprisingly, the pimple shrank within a day, and was basically gone by 2 days.  I do not know if they sell these at America, but if they do, you guys should definitely try this method!

Food 
6. Pineapple cake - Since I went to Taiwan for vacation, I bought these pineapple pastries.  If you didn't know what they are, they are pineapple and winter melon jam with a crumbly, buttery crust that seals everything together.  Taiwan has the BEST pineapple cakes.  They are delicious!  They also sell it here, but in my opinion, it's not as good as the ones at Taiwan.



7. Sun Cake - This is another sweet treat I got from Taiwan.  The picture on the right is how the sun cake looks like (sorry it is a crappy picture cause the outer layer was kind of messed up).  Anyways, basically the filling of sun cake is, according to wikipedia, maltose aka condensed malt sugar.  I don't really know how to describe the outer layer but just look in the picture. :)  These taste just as good as the pineapple pastries.  Again, they sell these at America, but the ones sold at Taiwan are better in my opinion.

 8. Break Free by Ariana Grande - I really love this song.  It sounds different from her other songs, but it's just as good, if not, better (than some).

10. Boss by Fifth Harmony - This song is so freaking catchy!  This song is more mature than their other songs.  I actually like these kind of song style better.

Movie

12. Captain America: The Winter Soldier - So this movie came out 4 months ago, but I recently watched it on the plane since I was bored. My friend really wanted to watch the movie; that's how I knew about it.  I didn't think that I would like those super hero movies, but this movie proved me wrong.  After I watched it, I loved it.  I especially like the fight scenes.  And let's talk about Scarlett Johansson for a sec.  She is so awesome as Black Widow!  I loved her from the beginning of the movie.  Like a woman that can kick a**?  What's better than that?










13. Lucy - So I watched this movie a few days ago.  I saw the trailer, and right away, I was like I have to watch it.  I love this movie because it has an interesting concept.  I loved looking at Lucy kicking people's a**.  And also Scarlett Johansson is in it ahaha.  She's so pretty and is an amazing actress!  Scarlett is now one of my favorite actresses! :)  Also, an interesting fact, in case you guys didn't know already, is that some parts of this movie was actually shot at Taiwan!  Therefore, when I was watching it, I felt really proud! :D  Anyways, you guys should WATCH IT!









App 
14. Snapchat - I actually had this app on my phone for quite a while.  In the month of July, I used this app a lot (usually I don't use it much), so I had to include this in my July Favorites.  Snapchat is actually a good place to go on your phone if you are bored.  You can make snapchat videos, and spam your friends lol.

Lucy Hale's Album - Road Between

So Lucy Hale from Pretty Little Liars came out with an album on June 3rd called Road Between, and of course I had to get it.  So I got it from Walmart.  The Walmart version has an autographed booklet signed by Lucy Hale, so I got that one.  (It's a legit autograph not a printed one lol.)  Previously, I did a post about Ariana Grande's album Yours Truly because I loved it (click here to read it).  Since I liked Lucy Hale's album Road Between, I decided to do a post about it as well!  Below are pictures of the album packaging!

Now on to my review for this album.  Basically, this album's genre is country.  And I know that most people don't really listen to country music.  But I promise you, just try to listen to Lucy Hale's album Road Between.  Personally, I don't listen to country music, but when I listened to her album, it's enjoyable.  All the songs are pretty good.  Most people see her as Aria on Pretty Little Liars, so it's nice to see people to actually get to know Lucy in these songs.  I think Lucy fits as a country singer really well.  Previously, she sang songs for the movie A Cinderella Story: Once Upon a Song, and those were pop songs.  I prefer her in country music.  Anyways, I would probably give this album a 4.5/5 stars! :)  Thank you so much for reading, and I hope you liked this post! :D

The Fault In Our Stars Movie Review

Today, I watched The Fault In Our Stars Movie, and I loved it.  Therefore, I decided why not do a review on it?  So this post will be a review of Fault In Our Stars movie.  This movie is based on the book The Fault In Our Stars by John Green.  For those of you who have not read the book, read it asap!  Anyways, now let me tell you my thoughts on the movie.  It was such a funny, emotional, romantic, and beautiful movie.  It followed the book really closely.  There were so many scenes from the book that I saw in the movies and quotes as well.  Shailene Woodley (Hazel) and Ansel Elgort (Augustus) fit their roles so well; they had great chemistry.  I know that Shailene and Ansel play brothers and sisters in Divergent movie, so people might think it's a bit awkward to see them as lovers in TFIOS.  But for me, it wasn't awkward at all.  This movie is definitely a must see.  It's not the average "love story" movie.  I think it's more real.  Now, I will be talking about scenes from the movie, which will contain spoilers.  So I suggest you to stop reading if you haven't watch the movie yet.  Or if you like spoilers, then go ahead and read on!  I loved the egg throwing scene in the movie.  It was really funny.  When Monica's mom came outside the house, Augustus said, "You see, we may not look like much but between the three of us we have five legs, four eyes and two and a half working pairs of lungs but we also have two dozen eggs so if I were you, I would go back inside."  Haha.  I was eager to see how the Anne Frank scene, and Amsterdam date scene will turn out.  And it turned out simply just perfect.  Overall, this movie is just so amazing and so beautiful and so perfect.  On a scale from 1 to 10, I would give this movie a 10/10 of course.  If you are a fan of the book, then definitely go watch the movie.  If you aren't a fan of the book, then still watch the movie.  Trust me, you won't regret it! :)

EOS Vs. Baby Lips

Okay, I know I already did a post like this before which compared all 3 lip balm brands: EOS, Baby Lips, and Nivea.  If you want to read that blog post, click here.  But this post will be different, since it would be a more in depth comparison of only EOS and Baby Lips.  Many people wonder what the differences and similarities are between EOS and Baby Lips.  So that's why I decided to do a post on it.  Now, let's begin!

Packaging

EOS:

The packaging for EOS lip balm is so unique.  It's a lovely dome shape.  It's very easy to open and close.  However, since EOS lip balm is spherical-shaped, it might not be convenient to carry around in your purse.

Baby Lips: 

On the other hand, the packaging for Baby Lips is more ordinary.  The Baby Lips font are on the sides.  Actually for Baby Lips Dr. Rescue Collection, there is a label on a cap unlike the other Baby Lips collections.  Usually, the caps are clear, with no label on it.  The bottom dial feels loose when I twist it, but so far so good like it doesn't come off or anything.  I think the packaging for all the Baby Lips collections are still cute though.  And the packaging is more compact, so it's easier to fit in your purse. 

Winner - EOS

Scent 

EOS:

So I have 2 EOS lip balms, and they are the strawberry sorbet and blueberry acai (shown in picture).  Out of those 2, I prefer the blueberry acai one, since I think it smells better.  I also know how the other EOS lip balm smell like (sweet mint, summer fruit, honeysuckle honeydew) though because my family members have them.  And I can tell you that they smell amazing!


Baby Lips:

For Baby Lips, I have the pink punch and peach kiss from the regular collection, and I also have the Baby Lips Dr. Rescue coral crave (as shown in the picture).  The Baby Lips Dr. Rescue chapstick has kind of a medicated smell I guess?  So if you are someone who wants a chapstick that smells good, I do not think you should get that.  On the other hand, the baby lips from the regular collection smells really good.  Compared to EOS, I would say that EOS has more of a natural smell, and Baby Lips has more of an artificial smell (it still smells very good though.)

Winner: EOS 



Pigmentation 

EOS:

When you put EOS on your lips, there is no color.  For me, I use it at home usually before I go to sleep, so I can wake up with soft lips.  Or, I use it for any casual events, since there is no color.


Baby Lips:

Baby Lips do give out color, but it's not very pigmented.  Once you put it on, it just gives a sheer wash of color to the lips.  But if you put more coats on your lips, then the color would show more.  For me, I like to use it for special occasions, and sometimes, I will apply it on my lips before I go to bed as well, like what I do with EOS.

Winner: Baby Lips

Texture / Moisturization

EOS:

When you have EOS on your lips, it feels like you don't have any lip balm on which I personally like that.  It feels smooth and light, without being oily.  In terms of moisturization, EOS moisturizes very well.  Every time I put EOS on, it leaves my lips feeling super soft.


Baby Lips:

For the texture of Baby Lips regular collection, I feel like it's oily and a bit greasy.  It doesn't feel as nice on my lips as EOS.  I LOVE the texture for Baby Lips Dr. Rescue collection though.  Once you apply it, there is a cooling sensation on your lips, and the formula doesn't feel oily or greasy at all.  It feels very nice on my lips.  The moisturization for Dr. Rescue is better than the regular collection.  Compared to EOS, though, I believe EOS moisturizes better.

Winner: EOS


Anyways, that wraps up my post for EOS vs. Baby Lips!  I know it seems like I favor EOS a lot more, but actually Baby Lips Dr. Rescue is pretty close to EOS to me.  I recommend BOTH of these brands, but you should buy the one that you think you will like better! :) I truly hope that this post helped you, and thank you so much for reading! :D

14 Awaited Releases/ Events for 2014

So I saw that my friend (randomthingsrcool.blogspot.com) did this post around 2 months ago, and I decided that I wanted to do a post like this as well.  Instead, mine would be any 14 awaited releases/events for 2014.  The releases will not just be books and movies (my friend's post was only the releases for books and movies).  Without further ado, let's begin!

These are not in any order at all:

1. Pretty Little Liars Season 5 Premiere - Well of course this isn't a surprise since ya'll know how much I love Pretty Little Liars!
2. Ariana Grande's Second Album - I LOVED her first album, Yours Truly (click here if you want to read my post about Yours Truly)
3. Lucy Hale's Album, Road Between - So I've heard several songs from her album on her Youtube channel, and all of them sound really good.  Now, I personally don't really like country music, but when I listened to her songs, I really like it.  You guys should definitely  listen to her songs!
4. Pretty Little Liars Toxic - Pretty Little Liars book series still remains as one of my favorite book series of all times.  When Toxic comes out, it just means one step closer to finding out who A is!
5. TFIOS Movie - Now y'all should know what TFIOS stand for, but in case you don't, it stands for The Fault In Our Stars.  I read the book The Fault In Our Stars and LOVED it!  So I'm super pumped for the movie to come out.  And I saw the trailer, and the movie seems like it would be amazing!
6. Mockingjay Part 1 - Catching Fire was one of my favorite movie (click here if you want to see my review of Catching Fire), and I already watched that movie 3 times.  So of course, I can't wait for Mockingjay Part 1.
7. The Maze Runner Movie - I never read the book The Maze Runner, but I plan to.  I watched the trailer for the Maze Runner and it looks like it would be a great movie.
8. Pretty Little Liars Future Collections - If you didn't know already, there is a Pretty Little Liars clothing line, which is sold at Aeropostale.  I am excited for future PLL collection releases, since the clothes from the collection are released so far are all fashionable.
9. Teen Choice Awards - Teen Choice Awards is my favorite award show.  I don't know I just like it, and also, Pretty Little Liars cast wins every award they are nominated so yay! :)
10. Katy Perry Concert - So I know in my Demi Lovato Neon Lights Concert post (click here if you want to read it), I told you guys that Katy Perry's Prism concert ticket were sold out.  However, on April 1 when I checked the website that sold tickets, there was apparently still tickets.  So I got tickets for the concert!  But the seats were on the side, which I guess is totally fine since I would be at her concert.  And that's all that matters.
11. The Retribution of Mara Dyer - So my friend from randomthingsrcool.blogspot.com recommended this series.  This book will be the third book for the Mara Dyer triology, and I am looking forward to the release of this book.  The Mara Dyer series is an AMAZING book series; it's one of my favorites.  If you didn't read any books from this series already, you have to read it!  It's soooo freaking good!
12. Maleficent - I saw the trailer for this, and right away, I was like I have to see it.  Angelina Jolie is PERFECT as Maleficent.

Okay, before I list the next 2 events, let me just say it's more of a personal awaited event.

13. Starting High School - So I would be starting high school as a freshman this coming August.  And I'm actually pretty excited about it.  I hope my 4 years high school will be memorable.
14. 8th Grade Promotion Dance - The theme for the 8th Grade Promotion Dance is Glow in the Dark, so yay!  I don't know what to wear yet, but it's the last dance of the year.

My Thoughts About Height

So I always wanted to make this post about height, and today I decided to do that.  This post will be about my thoughts on height, and why you should love your height.  For me, I'm pretty short (I'm 14 and only 5 feet 1 3/4 inches tall).  When I started to notice that I didn't grow as much as before, I'm not gonna lie; I was upset.  My dream height was around 5 feet 5 inches tall, and I was no where close to that.  Before, I didn't like being that short.  But now, I'm starting to learn to embrace it.

I think being short or tall isn't bad at all.  I mean there are perks of being short and perks of being tall.  But there are also negative points about being short or tall, which don't think about the negative part of your height.  ALWAYS think positive about your height.

For those people who comment on people saying "Wow you are so short" or "Oh my gosh you are so tall", seriously stop it.  Like it's really unnecessary.  They already know if they are tall or short.  For the person you are making these comments to, you don't know if they will feel offended or not.  It's okay to observe people because it's natural to do that.  But keep your observations to yourself.  It's rude to comment on someone's height, especially if you call them short (since idk society think being tall is good which it is but doesn't mean being short is bad, you know).

Now  for those of you who don't like your height, then from this point on, stop hating your height.  Height doesn't matter.  If you have a good heart, that's all it matters.  Be confident with who you are.  Don't let other people's comments get to you.  As long as you are happy with who you are, then you will live a much happier life!  So next time when someone says, "you are so short/tall", just smile and say "I know" :)

#PLLSeAson5 Summer Premiere Official Preview & More

So the promo for Pretty Little Liars Season 5 came out a few days ago, and I decided to show you guys!



OMG I CANT WAIT!

Now, I'm going to talk about my predictions, what I hope will happen in season 5, and some rambling.  I want Alison to have a twin so badly in the show (in the books she does have a twin).  I mean it makes everything more interesting.  Someone in the show definitely has a twin though; I think it's probably either Cece or Alison.  There are several clues in the show that kinda hints us there is a twin.  As you can see from the promo, Ezra whispered who he thinks A is, and hopefully he really does that.  Usually Pretty Little Liars promos just make it look like something will happen, when in the actual episode, what we think will happen doesn't really actually happen.  I'm pretty sure that Ezra won't die I mean everyone likes Ezra.  Ezria is the best couple in PLL for sure!  Some people feel like the show is dragging on, but I think its fine.  I think we will have some legit answers in season 5.  Marlene said the story doesn't end until a season 6 (if PLL does get renewed).  And about Alison, I think she changed.  I think the liars can trust Alison now.  Judging by the promo, it looks like season 5 will be the best season ever!

Now, the book cover for the last book in the Pretty Little Liars book series is released.  So this is how the cover looks like:

 
If it is the last book (cause Sara Shepard, author of PLL book series tends to say this book is the last book when it's really not the conclusion to the series), then I think the cover should have been with 4 liars on it.  I like the color combination though.  I'm happy that Sara is finally ending the series cause the book series does kinda drag on a bit.  I still love it though, but all story lines can't go on forever.  I hope that there will be a great conclusion to the series.  I wonder how Sara will end it because in previous books, she makes Alison so powerful.  I really don't know how the liars can't defeat her.  So that will be interesting to find out.

5 Things That Piss Me Off More Than Ever Tag

So, today I am going to do a tag, which as you can tell from the title, it's the 5 things that piss me off more than ever tag.  I was tagged by a random person from randomthingsrcool.blogspot.com.  Without further ado, here are 5 things that pisses me off more than ever.

1. when people think they are too good for others - Ugh, some people just think they are so much better than others.  I mean seriously, everyone is the same.  Like, you don't get special treatment.  

2. rude people - Gosh, people who are rude for NO apparent reason at all pisses me off.  I didn't do anything, why ya gotta be rude to me?  

3. people who follow others - Here's a tip guys, don't follow anyone.  No one likes someone who constantly follows them.  It's just plain annoying.  

4. wannabes - Wow wannabes are just so.....annoying.  They try to be popular, and you can tell they are trying pretty hard.  But ya know, popularity doesn't matter, like after high school, it won't matter at all.  

5. spoilers - Don't be on social media if you haven't watched an episode of your favorite TV show or movie.  I learned that the hard way.  There will always be spoilers on social media.  Some people just decide to ruin it for everyone.  Like really?!!  Are you serious?  Once I read a spoiler, I can't "forget" the spoiler.  So, if you are a spoiler out there, do everyone else a favor by not spoiling okay? 

And I'm sorry I had to add one more thing, cause listing only 5 things is simply not enough.  

6. people who curse to be cool - Dude, like no stop.  Cursing doesn't make you cooler or anything.  I'm fine with cursing, cause everyone curses.  But like if you curse a lot, and you do it to be cool?  Nah!

Caramel Frappuccino

Can we just talk about a drink that is perfection?  For me, that drink is the Caramel Frappuccino from Starbucks.  It's the best.  First, let me describe the drink.  So basically, it's just coffee blended with caramel syrup, milk, and ice.  It's topped with whip cream (well this is actually optional), and to finish it off, caramel sauce is drizzled over the whip cream.  Now, I'm going to describe how it tastes like.  So once you drink it, you will taste the bold coffee and the sweet caramel.  Then, there will be a icey coffee-ish, caramel-y taste that lingers in your mouth.  So yeah.  Anyways, seriously you guys HAVE to try the Caramel Frappuccino, if you didn't already.  Especially if you love caramel.  Trust me, you will love it. :)

10 Things That Makes Me Happy Tag

Hi, so today I am going to be doing the 10 things that makes me happy tag!  I never did a tag before on this blog, so I decided to do one today.  Anyways, without further ado, here are the 10 things that makes me happy!

1. watching PLL - do I even need to explain? Lol, well y'all should know that I am absolutely obsessed with Pretty Little Liars!  If I am having a bad day, all I have to do is watch PLL, and everything is good! 
2. shopping - Almost every girl likes shopping.  I happen to be one of the girls who do like shopping.  I like buying new clothes, or looking at clothes :) 
3. Starbucks - Starbucks is like a sip of happiness.  My favorite drink at Starbucks is the caramel frappuccino. 
4. listening to Ariana Grande - Ariana Grande is such an amazing singer.  Her voice is so lovely, and her songs are the best!  When I listen to her songs, it just makes me happy. 
5. summer - I love summer because there is no school.  Summer is also the time to travel to places where you always wanted to go, and spend time on the beach.  And you get to wear tank tops and shorts, which I personally like wearing.     
6. helping others - When I help others, it brings joy to my heart.  There is just this warm feeling when I help other people.  
7. eating good pizza - My favorite food is pizza that taste REALLY good.  I can eat good pizza for the rest of my life; therefore eating delicious pizza makes me happy.  
8. watching Harry Potter movies - All Harry Potter movies are absolutely incredible.  They belong in a special place in my heart.  I LOVE Harry Potter movies.  
9. dressing up - Well, I just really like dressing up for a special event or like a formal event.  I just do, and it makes me happy when I do get to dress up.  But I don't lke dressing everyday, just once in a while.   
10. friends & family - Friends and family are always there for me.  My friends are so helpful, and I can talk to them about anything.  My family are so loving and makes me so happy.  My friends and family are truly the best!

Divergent Movie Review

So a few days ago, I watched the Divergent movie.  Oh my gosh, it was so freaking good!  For those of you who don't know, this movie was based on the book, also called Divergent, by Veronica Roth.  Anyways, let me tell me my thoughts that do not include spoilers.  I thought this movie was perfectly paced and that it followed the book pretty well.  It was full of action, and the chemistry between the characters was absolutely wonderful.  I also thought all the actors/actresses fit their role pretty well.  When the movie showed the Dauntless building, I was surprised that it was pretty close to how I imagined it.  Like I watched other movies that are adapted from books before, but none of the sets closely resembles to how I imagined it.  And haha, when it showed Tris fighting or sprinting, it actually makes you want to fight/sprint too.  Okay, so that wraps up the review of the Divergent movie, without spoilers.  Below, I am going to tell you my thoughts on certain parts of the movies, and they do contain spoilers.

So let's start from the beginning, shall we?  The aptitude test, well it was shorter than the book's version.  But it works, I guess since obviously not everything from the book can be in the movie.  When Tris choice Dauntless as her new faction, I was like yes!  When Dauntless started running up to the train, I felt like running too.  After Tris jumped into the net, Four appeared.  Can we just talk about Theo James (Four) for a second?  Gosh, he is so hot.  Haha, I'm sorry I had to say that.  Later, Eric and Peter appeared.  Both Peter and Eric wasn't how I imagined, but it works.  When Tris fought against opponents for the first part of the Dauntless training, I wanted to shout GO TRIS!  But I can't since I was in the movie theater so.....ya.  During the part where Tris got on the zip line, the scene was shot so beautifully.  And when Tris last minute, pulled the brake, she stopped like literally right in front of the board.  I was like that was so close!  And the end of Divergent, when Tris was fighting, gosh it was so intense.  The ending of Divergent is definitely my favorite part of the movie, but it was really sad too.  When Tris's mom died, oh my gosh I was so close to crying.  Cause her mom was saved Tris's lives and sacrificed herself.  Tris's dad also sacrificed himself too.  But you know at the end, Tris saved so many of the Abnegation's lives and became the hero. :)

So yeah, that was my review on Divergent, the movie.  Overall, I would give it a 9.5/10.  Comparing it with Catching Fire (film), I would have to say that Catching Fire is better.  The reason is because Catching Fire made me stare at the screen with my mouth open the whole time, and I barely moved throughout the movie.  Catching Fire was that good, but Divergent didn't make me feel that way.  Divergent is still an amazing film to see though, and I definitely recommend all of you guys to watch it (but first read the book).  Oh, and I thought the chemistry between Tris and Four was a lot better than Katniss's and Peeta's.  Tris and Four are perfect together.  Also, I would like to say that if I chose a faction, I would probably choose Dauntless, since it's so exciting and fun.  Although the stuff that Dauntless do are dangerous, well everyone needs to take some risks once in a while. :)

Thin Mints

So for this post, I just felt like sharing one of my favorite cookies of all times- Thin Mints.  Most of y'all probably know what it is, but for those of you who don't, let me explain.  Thin mints is a girl scout cookie, where girl scouts sell it during a certain time of the year.  Thin mints has a great tasting chocolate coating, crispy chocolate wafer inside, and delicious Peppermint flavor.  This is what makes this cookie the best selling Girl Scout cookie.  Well, of course it is since it's so addicting and so yummy.  Anyways, you guys should definitely buy this the next time girl scouts are selling it.  Now if you will excuse me, I'm getting a thin mint.

Pretty Little Liars Season 4 Spring Finale Reaction

Wow, this episode was soooo freaking good!  It's definitely one of the best Pretty Little Liars episode ever.  There were so many shocking reveals, and so many Alison Dilarentis scenes (which I LOVE).  Anyways, so for this episode, you finally find out what happened the night that Ali went missing, who buried Alison, etc.  Below is my reaction to this episode, which contains spoilers.

When Noel appeared, I wasn't that surprised since I was already suspecting that he was the one that Spencer talked to at the end of the previous episode.  I knew it wasn't a trap.  When Cece revealed that she knew who Alison was so afraid of, I was like what? Really?!  I feel sorry for Alison because she has to go through A's torture all by herself.  When Ali revealed that Spencer didn't kill anyone, I was like yes good.   Also, whattttt Alison's mom was the one who buried Ali???  I mean that kinda doesn't seem like what a mother would do to her daughter.  I think the person who hit Ali with a rock was her twin (In the PLL book series, Ali had a twin.  The Ali that the liars knew as was actually called Courtney, but pretended that she was Alison.  The real Alison hated Courtney for pretending to be her.)  Wow, Mona knew Alison was alive the whole time.  Also, what was Melissa whispering to her dad about?? At the end, OMG Ezra was shot.  Gosh, I was crying when he was shot.  The scene with Aria begging for Ezra to stay alive was so emotional; I just lost it.  I usually don't cry during these dying scenes though, idk why I cried during this one.  Ugh, Ezra better not die.  He absolutely cannot die.  Oh, and before he got shot, I thought that he was so sweet showing up and defending the liars and Alison.  When "A" escaped from the liars, he jumped over a roof, proving that he had physical abilities; therefore, I think "A" is a male.  This episode ended with Jessica Dilarentis being buried by "A".  After watching this episode,  I had so many questions in my head.  Hopefully, they will be answered in the next season.

Book Review + Discussion: Eleanor & Park

So today, I am going to do a book review on Eleanor & Park.  Hmmm where do I start?  Well, let me just say that this book was heartwarming, funny, honest, bittersweet, and refreshing.  It's an unpredictable love story.  This has to be one of the best books I have ever read.  Set in 1986, Eleanor & Park is about two misfits falling in love.  With her curly hair and wearing the wrong clothes all the time, Eleanor doesn't fit in.  Park, being half Korean, is an outsider as well.  Their relationship all begins on the bus ride to school, where Park offers a seat next to him to Eleanor when no one else will.  So that's basically a general summary for Eleanor & Park.  Anyways, reading this book was an emotional roller coaster.  Like this is literally the only book that actually made me have emotions while reading it.  At the funny moments, I would laugh.  At the heartbreaking moments, my heart felt like it's tearing apart.  In the happy moments, I would smile.  So yeah.  Oh, and did I mention that Rainbow Rowell is an amazing writer?  She truly is.  Overall, I give this book a 5/5 stars.  Now, on to the discussion part.

Can we just talk about Eleanor's step dad for a second?  He is a b*stard I swear.  Gosh, he's the reason why Eleanor and Park can't see each other.  Park is such a sweet guy.  He protects Eleanor from the bullies, and is willing to risk getting hurt to protect her.  I felt sorry for Eleanor, since she's been through so much, ya know?  In the very end, literally the last sentence (when Park received a postcard from Eleanor that said I love you), it was so bittersweet.  I thought Rainbow Rowell ended the book perfectly.

Japan Beauty Products

shampoo and face wash

Today, I am going to talk about some beauty products I bought from Japan.  Actually, it's only 2 products as you can see from the picture.  So I went to Japan last summer.  Recently, I used the face wash (I wanted to finish using up my current face wash before using this one) and loved it.  Since both the shampoo and face wash work so well, I decided to make a post about them.  So yeah, anyways let's start with the shampoo.  The shampoo makes your hair so soft and clean.  It's kind of like a 2 in 1 (shampoo and conditioner in 1 bottle), but it's not actually a 2 in 1.  Like if I only use this shampoo, my hair would still be soft.  Time to talk about the face wash.  This face wash makes your face feel so refreshing, and the texture feels very smooth on your face.  It has a green tea scent, which I really like.  Overall, both of these products are simply amazing.  I know that you guys will probably not have a chance to buy it, but I still wanted to share my thoughts with you guys.  Anyways, thanks for reading, and I hope you like this post! :)

My Trip to Anaheim

So I recently went to Anaheim for a band field trip.  Our school band was supposed to compete in the Music in the Parks event, so that's why we went to Anaheim.  And to go to Disneyland, of course!  Anyways, read on if you want to know about my trip to Anaheim, California. 

Day 1: Okay this day was mainly driving to Anaheim.  The bus started driving around 9:00 A.M., and we arrived at 6:00 P.M.  I had to sit in the bus for 7-8 hours (we had 1 rest stop).  And the bus was uncomfortable.  So.....yeah.  Wasn't too happy that day. 

Day 2: In this day, we are so unlucky I swear.  I mean this day was supposed to be sightseeing like going to Venice Beach, Hollywood, and Griffith Observatory.  But we ended up not going to any of those places.  We couldn't go to Venice Beach since it was raining, and I guess you can't go to beaches when it's raining.  Hollywood was closed because people there are preparing for the Oscars, which was that weekend.  We didn't go to Griffith Observatory because apparently there was a mudslide (I saw that on the news).  So we basically just drove around on the bus for idek how many hours, but it was a loooong time.  For dinner, we ate Hometown Buffet, so that was good (for food, the teacher brought the food; we don't eat at a restaurant).  At least I went to Downtown Disney, in which my group's chaperone took us to. :)

Day 3:  Band competition and Disneyland day!  We had to wake up at 5:00 AM.  So early......  We arrived at the competition place around 8:00 AM.  And we got first place, woo hoo ...... cause we were the only middle school band that competed, haha.  Anyways, after that, we went to Disneyland yayyy!  I was so happy that Disneyland didn't close because of the rain.  If that actually happened, this whole trip would be so depressing lol.  Disneyland didn't look as good when it's raining.  I guess I had fun in Disneyland?  But the whole time, both of my shoes were wet.  And do you know how uncomfortable that feels?  Every time I walk, you can hear the squishing of the water.  My feet felt so cold and dirty.  When it was time to leave Disneyland, I was so happy that we finally get to sit on a bus since my legs were sore from walking.  Well, we got even more unluckier because since we left Disneyland so late (around 10- 10:30 PM), the bus driver didn't drive us back to the hotel.  I don't blame him.  So guess what?  We had to walk back to the hotel.  Gosh, I literally could barely stand.  I was sooo tired by the time I finally got back to the hotel.

Day 4:  Driving back to school day!  So this day is the day we leave Anaheim.  Tbh, I was quite happy because home is just so much more comfortable than the hotel.  Our plan was to get back to the school around 4:30 PM, but we ended up arriving around 8:00 PM.  Which is like a big difference.  So it was kinda sad, cause it means more time on the bus.  And the bus is really uncomfortable (like what I said earlier).  So yeah, when I arrived at my house, I was just so happy, cause home sweet home. :)

Overall, I had a pretty good time.  I didn't have the best time, but I still enjoyed it even though we were quite unlucky, haha.  Okay, anyways, thank you so much for reading, and have a wonderful day! :) 

My Experience at the Demi Lovato Neon Lights Concert

Gosh, first of all, I am so sorry that I haven't posted for such a long time.  I was busy lately, but I have not forgotten one bit about my blog.  To make it up to you guys, I will publish 6 posts during March (since there was only 2 posts in February, and I plan to have 4 post per month.)  Anyways, wow this post is so overdue......I still wanted to share with you guys my experience at the Demi Lovato Neon Lights Concert at the SAP Center in San Jose on February 11, 2014.  It was such a great concert!  There were pretty lights (well duh its called neon lights after all lol), and Demi Lovato sang amazingly.  She looked so cute with her pink air and adorable smile!  However, I felt as if the opening acts were too long; they were about 2 hours in total, while the actual part when Demi performed was around 1 around or so.  There was 3 opening acts - Fifth Harmony, Collins Key (magician), and Little Mix.  My favorite opening act is Fifth Harmony.  When it was finally Demi's turn to perform, I was so happy.  She sang some songs from her album and some old songs as well.  I love the fact that she didn't "ditch" her old songs.  Demi sang the songs together, like after this song ended she automatically starts the next one without pausing.  The row I was on was okay, I mean I can see her movements but not her facial expression.  Now, I am going to compare her concert with Katy Perry California Dreams Concert.  So I realized Katy Perry's concert is more fun and interesting, well for me at least.  I mean Katy Perry danced and had all these cute props.  I also felt that she talked to her fans more than Demi.  On the other hand, Demi Lovato is more of a stand there and sing type, which I don't mind since she sings so spectacular live.  But personally, I liked the Katy Perry concert better.  Like Katy's concert was honestly the time of my life, literally the best day of my life.  I was dancing the whole time and had SO much fun at Katy's concert.  Which is why I am upset that her Prism concert was sold out. :(  Okay, now back to Demi's concert.  Even though I enjoyed Katy's concert more, Demi's concert is definately worth going to.  It felt so short, and I was bummed when it ended.  So  if you are a Demi Lovato fan, I suggest you to go to her concert! :)

What I Got from #PLLbyAero Spring Collection 2014

When I found out that there was going to be a Pretty Little Liars spring collection at Aeropostale, I was excited.  I saw this dress from the website, and instantly fell in love.  I bought it the day it came out.  The design is just so cute and the studs just makes it even cuter.  Below is a picture of the dress.

Aria Studded Ponte Dress

The dress may not look appealing to you at first sight, but once you put it on, it looks so much better.  Now, I am going to tell you the ways I would wear this dress.  I would wear this dress with black flats, black combat boots, or black heels (if I had heels).  I'm also planning to buy a belt, which will look amazing when you wear the dress.  I would think that a thick black belt works the best with this dress rather than a brown or thin belt.

Btw, on the day when the Pretty Little Liars spring collection came out, it was also the same day that the Bethany Mota spring collection came out.  I didn't get anything from the Bethany Mota spring collection because there wasn't really anything I particular really liked.  I mean I was planning to get the cardigan, but when I tried it on, it didn't look as good as I thought it would.  And a lot of the clothing items were too cropped for me.  I also watched the promo for the Bethany Mota spring collection on youtube, but there were some clothing items that weren't in the actual collection.  So I was a bit confused.

Lush Grease Lightning Review + Update!

As you an see from the title, this review will be about Lush Grease Lightning.  So this product is basically an acne treatment.  This is the third acne treatment I tried so far.  The other two were Clean & Clear Acne Spot Treatment (click here for review) and Clearasil Vanishing Acne Treatment Cream.  Out of these 3, Lush Grease Lightning is definitely the best acne treatment I've tried so far.  It really clears up my acne.  Like I had some forehead pimples, and around the next day, it's obvious that the pimple shrank.  This product is gel-like.  When you put it on, the gel will kind of dry on your skin.  Don't worry, it doesn't dry your skin though it just dries ON your skin.  Did that make any sense?  Lol.  I usually put this on the area where I have the acne.  I feel like this works better if you have a group of pimples, whiteheads, etc. rather than a single pimple, whitehead, etc.  I really liked the fact that it's made of natural ingredients.  About the packaging, well it's a pump, so you always get a specific amount of the gel.  Sometimes, the amount of gel that gets pumped out is too much.  Btw, Lush Grease Lightning has an expiration date, so I recommend to buy this only if you will use it often.  For me, the expiration date is around 2 years after the month/year I bought it.  Overall, I give this product a 4 out of 5 stars, since it's not a miracle worker but still works very well.  After I finish using this, I plan to buy the Neutrogena Oil- Free Acne Stress Control 3-in-1 Hydrating Acne treatment. :)

So I read Deadly about a month ago, and I decided to do a book review on it!  If you don't know what the plot of Pretty Little Liars is about, here is a link to my review of the previous book,Crushed, in the series (click HERE).  Oh, also this review is like the review of Crushed, following the same format which is book review and then discussion.  The discussion contains spoilers, but don't worry!  I will tell you beforehand.  Anyways for Deadly, it's basically about how the liars had enough of A ruining their lives and decided to put an end to it.  It was such an amazing book; it's a must read.  The plot, I would say, is kind of different from the other books in the series.  Like how the story goes it's kinda different, but in a great way.  The pace was also faster in this book, since the liars were actually doing something more effective to put an end to A's game.  In my opinion, what made Deadly more interesting than the other books was how A took it to the next level.  This affects the liars a lot, but it just makes them fight harder.  Btw, in Deadly, it revealed who Alison's helper was.  If you're interested in knowing who Alison's helper was, read the spoilers below.  Overall, I will rate this book a 5/5 stars! With all the intense and suspenseful moments, I had such an enjoyable time reading it.

Answer to Who is Helper A? : A is Nick, alias Tripp, Phineas, Jackson, Olaf, and Derrick.
Okay so in the beginning, it tells us Alison escaping from the Poconos in her perspective, which makes it more interesting.  When the book revealed that Noel was alive, I was relieved.  Once the liars decided to explain A to the cops, I felt like why didn't they do that earlier?  When Agent Fuji said there would be secret agents protecting them at all times, I was really hoping that the liars were safe from A at last.  Also, when Agent Fuji said she will investigate about the "A situation", I was kind of positive that she will solve the mystery.  Turns out, Agent Fuji accused the liars of sending the A notes to themselves to get attention, which I thought was illogical.  I mean seriously why would you send A text to yourself JUST to get attention?  Like, really?  When Emily's mom didn't believe in Emily when Emily said she wasn't the one in the "Tabitha video", I was like why wouldn't you believe in your own daughter?  Idk, I don't get it.  When Emily's family shunned Emily, I felt so bad for Emily.  Besides the liars, she has no one else to rely on.  Furthermore, when Emily attempted suicide, I thought she might actually suicide, but thankfully, the other liars got there in time to stop her.  I love how strong the friendship between the liars are.  In addition, I didn't like the characters Isabelle and Hanna's dad in the book, since they treated Hanna like crap.  Kate, on the other hand, was decent in this book.  On Arraignment day, a part of me thought that they have no hope left, but a part of me wonders if somehow, they manage to get out of the situation.  When the liars got a voice mail from Alison that had the chanting and Hanna figured out where it was from (her dad's office), I was like wow Hanna has such good memory and observes really well.  I probably wouldn't remember.  The liars arrive at a house behind the office, greeted by Nick, otherwise known as Tripp, Phineas, Jackson, Olaf, Derrick.  Wow, I never thought of that.  Alison appears with a gun, and I wonder if she will really get her wish.  The room where both Alison and Nick led the liars had this poison air, and I was scared for a second that all of them might actually die, and Ali will win.  When Alison tried to get Emily on her side, Emily refused, responding with "I hate you."  Good job Emily, way to show Alison how you really think of her.  Once the book described that "All she [Emily] saw was darkness", I thought that she was actually dead.  But it was later revealed she wasn't, and the rest of the liars weren't dead.  At the end, Agent Fuji figured out it was Nick who was helper A, saving the liars in time.  Everything is perfect timing like always for all the Pretty Little Liars books.  In those intense moments, someone will always save them somehow.  Which I guess you can say it's a good thing, but it can be quite predictable.  Not that I'm complaining or anything.  When Nick was arrested, I kinda felt sorry for him because like Alison obviously did a lot more bad things than Nick, but Nick was the one who got caught instead of Ali.  In the last few pages, it was revealed that Ali escaped AGAIN.  Honestly, I wonder how there can be this girl who is so clever with her plans.  This girl is so meticulous with her plans, that even FBI agents can't figure it out.  I really don't know how the liars can defeat her, honestly idek.
